Overview of Football Clinic & Trophy Tour
On October 26 in Hanoi, Mitsubishi Electric, in collaboration with the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), successfully organized a Football Clinic at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center (VYF) in Hanoi. This event, part of the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup™ 2024, aims to inspire and nurture young talent for the future of Vietnamese football.

This year, the football clinic welcomed representatives from the Sports Authority of Vietnam, the Vietnam Football Federation, and former Vietnamese football legends Duong Hong Son, Thach Bao Khanh, and Pham Thanh Luong. Significantly, experienced coaches from FC Imabari, a professional Japanese football club from the Meiji Yasuda J3 League, introduced the renowned "Okada" training method, which emphasizes skill and strategic thinking on the field.

Mr. Takashi Nishikuma, General Director of Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam, shared: “This is our 2nd time as the title partner for the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup. This year, with FC Imabari coaches participating in our children’s football clinic, we believe there’s a promising future ahead for Vietnamese football. Football offers children not only physical development but also the chance to build teamwork skills, which are essential for their future.”
During the training, children had the unique opportunity to interact with Vietnamese football veterans and experienced the “Okada” coaching method under the guidance of experienced coaches. This was an excellent chance for them to learn football techniques and deepen their love for football.

Mr. Isao Dobashi, the FC Imabari coach remarked: “The kids participated with great enthusiasm and passion. We hope that with this eagerness to learn, they will continue to develop and succeed in the future. Through activities like this, we want to inspire more young people to develop a love for football.”
