MECA 2025 Competition Timeline

| 11 November 2024 | Official Launch of the Competition | Start receiving project registration from teams for round 1 (school scale) |
| 16 December 2024 | Closing project receiving | Stop receiving project registration |
| 08 January 2025 | Announcement of the selected teams for the 1st round | The first-round competition date and selected teams will be announced on the MECA landing page |
| From 13 January 2025 to 24 January 2025 | Elimination round (Specific schedule will be updated later by each university) |
Exam dates will be announced upon universities' decisions (students will be notified specifically by the dedicated university) |
| 16 February 2025 | Announcement of the 21 selected projects and criteria | Announce the topics of 21 selected teams on the MECA landing page and via email |
| From May to June 2025 | Online Training | Q&A for each team to clarify doubts and provide technical support |
| From May to June 2025 | Delivery of sponsored products | Complete the delivery of the required products to the teams |
| 08 May 2025 | Beginning of the project assembly | With the products in hand, the teams will start assembling the projects |
| From 01 to 17 June 2025 | Teaser recording | Each team will be scheduled to work with MEVN Media team for teaser |
| 30 June 2025 | Final day for project documents submission | Each team to send video and report regarding their project to the organizing committee |
| 10-11 July 2025 | Assembly for the final contest | Rehearsal, run test, disseminating some key information to the teams during the competition |
| 12 July 2025 | Final round | Evaluation, deliberation, awards ceremony, gala party |
